This week Stephanie and Meghan try to understand some poetry, so they invite Megan Sunday of Let's Get Weirding to help them find some poetry they'll actually like!
Megan definitely delivered, as we all read some Edna St. Vincent Millay's poetry that made us laugh, discuss how revisionist American history is, and how frustrated some women were with the perspective people had of them. We also discuss the Lifetime movies based on V.C. Andrews books, Downton Abbey, and American literature and how it is taught.
Poems discussed in the episode:
"I, being a woman and distressed"
"Justice Denied in Massachusetts"
"Oh oh you will be sorry for that word"
